Khatib Bongsu Nature Park Phase 1
24 March 2026
Partner with us to create a nature sanctuary at Khatib Bongsu Nature Park that safeguards biodiversity, provides meaningful recreation and education opportunities, whilst protecting some of Singapore’s precious blue carbon stocks.

Khatib Bongsu Nature Park Phase 1 represents a transformative 42-hectare development within the expansive 150-hectare Khatib Nature Corridor.
This project weaves together the historical narrative of Sungei Khatib Bongsu with comprehensive biodiversity conservation, creating an immersive experience that nurtures environmental appreciation and stewardship for visitors of all ages, while enhancing ecological connectivity.
Why Support Khatib Bongsu Nature Park?
Biodiversity Conservation Impact: KBNP Phase 1 is projected to protect and strengthen critical habitat areas including mangrove forests, mudflats, and secondary forests that serve as vital ecosystems for native flora and fauna such as the Grey-headed Fish Eagle and Common Sandpiper.
Safeguarding Carbon Stock: Preserving the parks’s dominant habitats, such as the mangroves and mudflats, will prevent the release of carbon and make a meaningful contribution to Singapore's climate resilience and blue carbon efforts.
Education in a Nature Setting: Through the development of the KBNP, schools (with 20+ schools in its proximity) will get opportunities to experience nature up-close with educational programmes focusing on biodiversity and heritage, inspiring the next generation of environmental stewards through immersive learning experiences.
Rustic Nature Recreation: The park provides authentic nature experiences via trails leading to a mangrove floating deck, and facilities that allow visitors to engage meaningfully with Singapore's coastal heritage whilst maintaining the area's natural character.
